The term responsible sourcing goes beyond these terms, encompassing conflict-free, traceability, protecting people, their skills, and the environment be it land or sea. This looks different in every region of the world and it is an ever-evolving, open conversation.
Gemstones and precious metals are extractive, non-renewable resources.
